Reverse with scarce oval "REGISTERED / LEVUKA FIJI" handstamp in black. A scarce and most attractive usage.

    Surcharged at the Government Printing Office, Suva 1891 (Jan 1): 2½ d. on 2 d. green, 1892 ½ d. on 1 d. dull blue, 5 d. on 4 d. deep purple and 1893 5 d. on 6 d. rose with 3 mm. spacing (Type 19) with 1890 4 d. on 1 d. mauve, all used on 1894 registered cover to Clapham, tied by "G.P.O. SUVA / FIJI" circular datestamps in black (May 31) in black. Reverse with London 'Registered /S.W.D.O.' arrival in black (July 23). Some aging imperfections but a charming and scarce franking.
