    On paper lithographed "VR" 1877 (Jan 5): 1 d. blue in a greyish shade on horizontally laid paper, an unused horizontal strip of four from the Printer's Waste / Trial sheets, perf. 12½ and showing variety "Imperforate between Vertically", the first, third and fourth stamps especially showing doubling of FIJI in top label and not as prominently in the Duty Plate at base, an interesting multiple with large part thick brown gum.
