    1917/18: 3 d. chocolate, 6 d. carmine and 1 s. vermilion; together with 1917/21 ½ d. green, Hope 1 d. carmine. 1½ d. slate and 3 d. chocolate, all defaced in blue crayon and diagonally handstamped SPECIMEN in black, applied upon receipt from the UPU by the Bechauanland Post Office. Some imperfections, as usual with this archive, but unique.
