MARC handstamp in black (Jamet #7, early usage) and rated '1E' (escalin) due on arrival. Reverse flap opens for display with manuscript 'Par le navire 'L'Orthésien de Bordeaux, Capt. London transit on reverse (Dec 4) in red and struck there with 'COLONIES / &c. ART.13' handstamp in red. Charged '20' decimes due upon delivery.
