"JACMEL" double arc cds on reverse (Nov 8) and sent unpaid. London transit on reverse (Dec 4) in red and struck there with 'COLONIES / &c. ART.13' handstamp in red. Charged '20' decimes due upon delivery. Scarce and very fine entire.

Struck with octagonal French Paquebot 'LIGNE F / PAQ. FR. No. 1' in black (Aug 16) with reverse showing 'St. Thomas' Danish P.O. cds (Aug 22). File fold but an attractive and scarce cover.     1898 (Aug): Postage Due, Large Format sunken Die Proofs (5) by the American Banknote Co., with Master Die Proof without Duty Plate but full engine-turning background engraved in black (file number C-875) and complete set of 4 values from 2 c. deep indigo to 50 c. slate in issued colours, all engraved on cards (151 x 226 mm.) with file numbers C415-C418 and ABN imprint below. Fresh and very fine complete set. Rare and most attractive Gi D63/D66.
