1892 (5. Oct.): 4d mauve and 1d rose-carmine, tied to 2d. registered envelope by two clear strikes "BERRAKU/GOLD COAST", a further crisp strike is on the reverse, together with a transit Accra (6. Oct.). The letter is directed to London, where it arrived via Liverpool (3 Nov.) on the 4. November 1892. 1897 (Oct 30): ½ d. QV inland rate postal stationery card from ODUMASI to ABURI, the indicum is gently stamped Odumasi type ' A', with an arrival Aburi type 'A', and a straightline MISSENT TO ABURI. The card was subsequently redirected to AKROPONG where it received two datestamps (Oct 31 and Nov. 3).
