    1865: 10 c. violet, a used example with good margins all round and sheet marginal at base, applied just off edge of 1866 cover to Lyon, France tied by "BOGOTÁ" oval handstamp in black. Octagonal French Consular "STE. MARTHE" datestamp (Dec 5) in black at right (Salles fig. 1376), carried by "Nouveau Monde" with reverse showing circular "LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No. 1" datestamp in black. Taxed on arrival (Dec 29) with handstruck '10' décimes charge marking in black. Signed Calves.

    1866: 10 c. lilac, Stone A, a fine used example with good to large margins all round showing sheet margin at top and adjoining stamp at right, used on 1867 cover to Paris tied by "BOGOTÁ" oval handstamp in blue. Reverse with British P.O. SANTA MARTHA cds (July 1) and thence via London (July 28) where "GB /1F 60c." accountancy marking applied. Calais transit and charged '10' décimes handstruck to pay in black. The envelope with some closed tears not affecting the fine appearance. Cert. Bortfeldt (2009).

    1868: 10 c. lilac, Type II, a used example, a fine example used on 14 August 1874 cover to Paris cancelled in manuscript at "Cali" in ink for internal rate, three line "PANAMA / TRANSIT" in black (Sept 4) and thence via London where "GB / 1F 90c." accountancy marking applied in black. Calais cds of entry (Sept 30) and charged with handstruck '15' décimes in black. A scarce and attractive usage.

    1877: 10 c. bistre brown on wove paper, a fine example with good to large margins all round, used on 14 November 1879 cover from Zipaya (manuscript notation on reverse) to Paris, the adhesive cancelled by oval framed "BOGOTÁ" in black. Thence via British P.O. with fine "SAVANILLA / BARRANQUILLA" cds (Dec 1) in black, London cds (Dec 29) in red on reverse and struck there with "T / 1-10" accountancy marking. Charged with handstruck '16' décimes due on arrival: traiff of 1 May 1878. A scarce and most attractive usage.

    1881: 10 c. deep brown on blued wove paper, a fine example with good to large margins all round, used on 14 November 1879 cover from Bogotá to Paris, the adhesive cancelled by oval framed "BOGOTÁ" in black. Carried via French route with "SAVANILLA" Consular datestamp (Jan 2, 1881) in black (Salles fig. 1378) and reverse with circular "LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp (Jan 4) and carried on the "St. Germain" to St. Nazaire. Triangular 'T' marking and charged with handstruck '12' décimes due upon arrival. A few file folds not detracting from the appearance, a very early usage of this adhesive.

    1883: 10 c. orange on yellow, a used example on 1884 cover to Nîmes, France endorsed "par Lafayette", tied by framed CARTAGENA despatch handstamp in black. Carried by French Paquebot "Lafayette" with octagonal "COLOMBIE / LIG. A. PAQ. FR. No. 1" in black (Dec 3). Cover found to be double weight with '2' in manuscript and two strikes of triangular "T" marking in black. Taxed on arrival with extremely rare Postage Due 1881/92 Van Dyck 1 fr. marron (Maury T25) tied by Nimes / Gard cds (Dec 26). Slight opening tears away from adhesives at top, a very rare cover.

    1882/1900: Covers (3) on Exhibit leaves all to France by French Paquebot and taxed, with 1882 stampless cover from Barranquilla (Nov 16) and struck with "SAVANILLA / PAQ. FR. A No. 3" octagonal datestamp in black with handstruck '5' due marking and 1881 10 c. and 40 c. black Dues; 1898 stampless cover from Barranquilla with octagonal "LIGNE D / PAQ. FR. No. 1" datestamp superb in black, taxed on arrival with 1893 Postage Due 50 c. brown-lilac; and 1900 cover with 5 c. used from Cartagena with "LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No. 2" octagonal datestamp taxed on arrival with 1893 Postage Due 50 c. brown-lilac. An attractive and scarce group.

    Antioquia 1893: Antioquia 5 c. vermilion, a used example on reverse of 1899 opened for display envelope to Paris tied by FREDONIA oval handstamps in violet, with oval TRANSITO cachet and Medellin transit cds (Jan 5) on obverse with circular "T" marking and Barranquilla cds. Carried by French Packet "St. Laurent" with circular "LIGNE D / PAQ. FR. No. 1" in black (Jan 23). Further triangular "T" marking and taxed on arrival with 1893 50 c. brown-lilac tied by triangular handstamp in black.
