1881: 10 c. deep brown on blued wove paper, a fine example with good to large margins all round, used on 14 November 1879 cover from Bogotá to Paris, the adhesive cancelled by oval framed "BOGOTÁ" in black. Carried via French route with "SAVANILLA" Consular datestamp (Jan 2, 1881) in black (Salles fig. 1378) and reverse with circular "LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp (Jan 4) and carried on the "St. Germain" to St. Nazaire. Triangular 'T' marking and charged with handstruck '12' décimes due upon arrival.
