1882: 25 st. blue and pale blue (2) on second weight 1886 cover Kazanlik to France tied by a green strike of the KAZANLIK twelve bar dumb canceller. The "KAZANLIK" bilingual double circle is also applied on the front of the letter. Following the reunification of Eastern Roumelia with Bulgaria the old postal equipment was still in use for some time. Gabrovo and Roustchouk transit marks document the postal treatment in Bulgaria, two further French transits and an arrival mark complete the postal treatment. The franking is fresh and clean, a fold has been caused during affixing one stamp. The cover is slightly trimmed at the top with a small part of the flap missing. An important cover. According to our records there are two further copies of this bisect in existence on cover, which also eminate from Plovdiv with similar characteristics, paying the 25 st. foreign rate with a bisected 50 st. The cover shows some traces of aging, which given its rarity should be of little significance. The lot is accompanied by copies of the other existing bisects.
