    1859: "50 centavos blue", error of Transfer for 5 c., position 38 on the second setting sheet which was later punched from the sheet once the error was noticed by the Post Office. A magnificent stamp, notably one of the rarest stamps of all classic philately, with just 5 examples recorded.

    1859: 1 p. carmine, a used horizontal strip of three, imperceptibly touched at lower left to large margins, minor diagonal bend but of wonderful vibrant colour, neatly cancelled by large part strikes of BOGOTÁ Opera glass handstamps in black. Exceptionally rare - when offered by Siegel pronounced as the "only used multiple of the first issue 1 peso large than a pair", this being the largest used multiple showing a cancellation; the Goeggel collection did, however boast a manuscript cancelled strip of three (Corinphila, sale 178, 27 Feb 2013,  lot 4327).
