    British Postal Agency 1853 (June 24): Second sheet of entire letter from Aux Cayes to the Wesleyan Mission in London, struck on despatch with oval negative "CAYES / PAYÉ" and British double arc "AUX-CAYES" datestamp (June 28) in black. Reverse with British P.O. JACMEL double arc cds (July 4) in black and London arrival in red where rated '1/5d.' to pay in manuscript. Ironed bends but superb strikes.rnrn

    1865 (Aug 2): Entire letter from Jacmel to New York, prepaid '8d.' in red manuscript, struck with very fine "♚ / PAID / AT / JACMEL" in red. Reverse with 'Jacmel' cds in black (Aug 2) and 'Kingston / Jamaica' cds of transit, struck on entry with "Steamship / 20" in black with docketing of receipt (Aug 11) in manuscript. A scarce and attractive entire Gi = £ 950.

Fair 'Jacmel / Paid' cds below (Oct 25) and reverse with Kiel arrival cds in black (Oct 14). A fine and most attractive cover to an unusual destination.rnrn

Crown, in a strip of three used on printed envelope to Paris endorsed 'Par le Corrier Anglais', superbly cancelled by two strikes of the "C59" obliterator in black with corresponding "Jacmel / Paid" datestamp in red below (Feb 25). Reverse with London transit cds (March 14) and obverse with 'Calais à Paris' cds of the same day.
