    1877 (Oct 25): Great Britain 1870 ½ d. rose-red pl. 12 in a strip of three used with 1873 1 s. green pl. 12 on 1877 cover to Kiel, Holstein cancelled by three strikes of the "C59" obliterator in black and the 1 s. further tied by 'London / Paid' cds of transit (Nov 12) in red. Fair 'Jacmel / Paid' cds below (Oct 25) and reverse with Kiel arrival cds in black (Oct 14). A fine and most attractive cover to an unusual destination.rnrn
