    1881 (Feb 25): Great Britain 1880 1½ d. venetian red and 4 d. grey-brown pl. 17, wmk. Crown, in a strip of three used on printed envelope to Paris endorsed 'Par le Corrier Anglais', superbly cancelled by two strikes of the "C59" obliterator in black with corresponding "Jacmel / Paid" datestamp in red below (Feb 25). Reverse with London transit cds (March 14) and obverse with 'Calais à Paris' cds of the same day.
