    British Postal Agency 1843 (June 3): Entire letter from Gonaives to Bordeaux endorsed 'per Steamer' struck with fine large "CAPE-HAITIEN" double arc datestamp in black, somewhat over-struck with framed COLONIES / &c. ART.12 in red applied in London (July 3) in transit. A very scarce datestamp.
