Reverse with fine double arc "KINGSTON / JAMAICA" cds in black (April 22) and cover landed at Falmouth where superb "CARTHAGENA / O" fleuron applied in red. Paid" in purple manuscript at top and struck with superb Crown "PAID AT CARTHAGENA" handstamp in black. Reverse with British P.O. 'CARTHAGENA' double circle cds (Nov 10) in black and 'ST. British P.O.'s 1880: Newspaper wrapper from Savanilla to Montpellier, France struck on despatch with fine "SAVANILLA / BARRANQUILLA" British P.O. despatch cds (Jan 31) in black. Sent unpaid with large "T" marking in black and initially struck with framed "1FR. 92c. PER KILO", this marking over-scored and further framed "1FR. PER KILO" marking applied in black, with "30" décime charge marking in red at right and Montpellier arrival (March 3) on reverse. 1861: New Granada 20 c. red, the famous unused block of eighteen stamps, marginal from the top of the sheet, positions 4-7 / 13-16 / 22-25 / 31-34 / 40-41, with position 40 showing the "Retouched 2" in figure "20". Fresh colour nd, whilst creased between the second and third row, hardly any defects of significance, with large part original gum. The largest and most spectacular block of the 20 centavos and the most stunning multiple of the entire New Granada issue.
