On one sheet, issued at Limassol, the initial operation was out of alignment and this resulted in one vertical row having the overprint partially double and several vertical rows showing the overprint misplaced to varying degrees" from M.A. Warwick in W.T.F. Duty Plate being entirely hand-painted in Chinese White on pale blue lined background. The Crown Agents turned down the proposal on August 20, 1893.
