1862/63: Le Coq 1 p. brown, a used example on 1865 cover to Paris endorsed 'p. vapor voie de Panama', tied by 'Lima' cds (Oct 28) in black. British P.O. CALLAO single ring cds on reverse (Oct 28) in black, thence via Panama and London (Nov 29) where struck with framed "GB / 1F 90c." Accountancy handstamp in black. Charged '36' décimes due on arrival at the Paris Poste Restante. Slight acid ink fault on '1 onza' manuscript marking but a very scarce stamp on letter. Cert.
