    1881 (July 1): 2 c. dull purple on pale lilac, plate I, imperforate, a complete unused sheet of 50 subjects in a deep shade, of fine fresh colour and margins showing the 'nail-head' circles below position 45 at base, and in lower right margin alongside position 50. The 'Tint plate' can be seen clearly at the outer edge at the base of the sheet. Without gum but one of just three complete sheets recorded (the other was in the Hubbard collection, lot 178 and Sabattini). Some ironed folds but a rare and most delightful multiple.rn
