    1884: Formula stationery card (Type FC4), a used example bearing 1881 1 c. vermilion on yellowish, plate I, imperforate, in combination with 2 c. deep purple, plate II, first printing, perf. 13½, used to Glauschau, Germany tied by "Port au Prince / Haiti" cds (10 March 1884) with London transit cds in red on reverse. The foreign postcard rate was 3 c. for over 300 miles.
