    1881 (July 1): 1 c. vermilion on yellowish, plate I, imperforate, the used selection with two very early usages: 1 c. in horizontal pair cancelled by "Port au Prince" cds's (18 July 1881, first month of issue); superb 1 c. cancelled by bold "Jacmel" cds (25 July 1881, first month of issue); horizontal pair cancelled by  "POSTE / PAYÉ" framed handstamp, and a delightful used strip of four (positions 22-25) cancelled at Cap Haitien.
