    Lake Lefroy Goldfield Cycle Mail 1896: Lithographed 6 d. rose-pink on greenish paper, perf. 12, a used vertical tête-bêche pair, cancelled "HFM" (H.F. Maskell) in red manuscript, typical irregular perfs. but better than normal. Just 1'000 stamps were printed, the service was suppressed in June 1897. A fine and rare used multiple: the stamps were printed in tête-bêche blocks of four subjects.rnrnProvenance: RL, London, 19 Sept 1972, lot 649.
