    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1856: 1 d. yellow-green, imperforate or rouletted, a used example on 1856 cover to the Surveyor-General in Melbourne, over-lapped by half-length 3 d. blue, imperforate with ample to good margins, tied by unclear barred numeral "5" obliterator in black. Reverse with Ballarat despatch (Oct 28) and Melbourne arrival of the following day.
