    Sideface 1878: 2 d. pale green, used with Postal Fiscal 1880 1 d. slate and 6 d. mauve, on 1883 cover to Thurgau, Switzerland endorsed "via Brindisi", tied by "25" numeral obliterators with "DELORAINE" despatch cds alongside (Aug 25) in black. The envelope and two adhesives with two chisel slits applied for disinfection - due to the Egyptian Cholera outbreak - the slits being applied in Venice. Reverse with Launceston (Aug 25), 'Ambulant No. 41' cds (Oct 6), Frauenfeld and Marstetten arrival cds (Oct 7). A scarce mixed franking to an unusual destination.
