    Chalons 1857/69: 4 d. pale blue, a used example on 1862 entire letter to Campbell Town, endorsed "Civil Commandant, Port Arthur" at lower left and counter-signed by Cammandant Boyd, above circular "PRISONER'S LETTER / ♚ / PORT ARTHUR" handstamp superbly applied in brown. The adhesive, shaved to good margins, tied by "69" numeral obliterator with manuscript dated "PORT ARTHUR / POST OFFICE" handstamp "21/9/62" and red "PRE-PAID" transit (Sept 30) also on obverse. A very rare cover. Certs.
