    Recess by H. Best and others 1857/69: Chalon 1 d. pale red-brown, imperforate, wmk. '1' inverted, a used horizontal strip of four from a late Government printing (from July 1864), large even margins all round, marginal wmk. lines at left, neatly cancelled by two strikes of the "10" numeral obliterator of Antill Ponds.
