Incoming Mail 1882: Great Britain 6 d. grey pl. 18, defective at left corners (Gi 161), tied to 1882 cover to "Ship Berkshire" at Adelaide tied by "Haddington / 17" duplex in black (Dec 23). Found to be double weight with black "1/-" handstamp applied and further struck with framed "DEFICIENT POSTAGE 6d. / FINE 6d. = 1/-" in violet. Adelaide arrival cds also on obverse (Feb 5).
