Adelaide Printing 1856/58: Adelaide 2 d. pale red, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, three examples with touched to large margins, used on 1858 mourning envelope to Petersfield, Hampshire tied by "36" numeral obliterator of Clare in black. Double arc "CLARE / SOUTH AUSTRALIA" despatch cds at left (Jan 7) and reverse with Adelaide transit (Jan 8) in blue and London cds (March 16) in red.
