    1889 (April): Official POSTAGE in blue on 10 s. claret & mauve on bluish paper, wmk. large NSW sideways, perf. 12, overprinted "OS" with serifs in black, an unused example with slightly irregular perfs. as usual, of fine rich colour, large part og. An extremely rare stamp. Cert. RPSL (1938), Ceremuga (2022) Gi = £ 6'000.rnNote: On holding this stamp up to the light there is evidence of an albino "O" in the "OS" overprint - the "S" being obscured a hinge remnant.rnProvenance: Tommy Allen; Collection William Frazer, Spink, London, 18 Sept 2003, lot 199.
