Sir Edward Perry at Port Stephens, NSW struck with fine oval "♚ / GENERAL POST OFFICE / 14 AUG 14 / 1833 / SYDNEY" datestamp in brown, rated at enormous '5/10d.' to pay in manuscript (16 x 4d. inland rate + 6d. inwards Ship Letter rate - carried to Newcastle by the 'Sarah Jane' from Sydney. Reverse with 'Crown & Sheep' A.A.C. red wax seal.
