    1894 (Jan 1): The collection on leaves with unused set of six, ½ d. vermilion in an unused block of fifteen (5 x 3) from top left corner of the sheet, 1 d. pale blue in an unused block of twelve (4 x 3) from base of sheet, thereafter with cancellation study with "Old Calabar River" usages on ½ d. block, 1 d. blocks of four and fifteen, 2 d. green in blocks of six and nine, "Old Calabar" on sets (and duplication) incl. 1 d. dull blue block, "Benin River" in red on five values; "Bonny River" on complete set, "Warri" datestamps etc. A fresh and fine lot (65 items) Gi = £ 1'100+.
