    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'HALF / PENNY' in blue on Great Britain 2 d. grey-green & carmine, a used example with Gibbons Type 9 handstamped surcharge in blue, used on large piece of registered cover in combination with 1892/94 1 d. lilac horizontal pair and single 2 d. grey-green & carmine and 5 d. dull purple & blue all tied by oval framed "Registered / Old Calabar River" datestamps (Sept 26, 1894) in black.
