    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'HALF / PENNY' in carmine on Great Britain 2½ d. purple on blue, an unused se-tenant horizontal pair with first stamp Gibbons Type 4 handstamped surcharge in carmine and second stamp surcharged Gibbons Type 8 in blue, left hand stamp with vertical crease not affecting the wondrous apppearance, fresh and very fine with merest trace of speckles from red blotting paper utilised to store the stamps on superb large part og.
