1894 (Jan 5): 20 s. dull mauve & black on red, a De La Rue Imperforate Proof, marginal from base of sheet, signed "A.S." in red ink in the lower margin, adhered to card ex the De La Rue archives. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 3301, the stamp was approved on January 9, 1894.
