    Russian Company for Steam Navigation & Trade 1868 (March 10): Inscribed P.O.Π.и.T (ROPiT) 2 pi. deep blue and rose, a used example with large even margins all round, tied to 1868 entire letter to Aleppo by bold ROPIT / CONSTANTINOP. AGENT datestamp (3/VII) well struck in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 8) with sender's cachet adjacent. Reverse with PORT / ALEXANDRETTA cds of transit (July 10) in greenish-blue (fig. 198). An exquisite and extremely rare entire in the foremost quality. Cert.
