    1869: 15 bani carmine-red, a fine example with four margins, from the Trial Printing on vertically laid paper, in a rich shade, also showing a 'Doubled Lithographic Transfer' in the ROMANIA tablet at right, slight ironed bends as usual and traces of the violet 'defacement cancellation' removed - see Heimbüchler page 220 for further annotations on this Trial and the 'Cornelia' collection (Corinphila sale 149, Feb 2007, lot 5183) for a watermarked pair. A very rare Trial, just 100 printed with very few examples recorded Mi = € 1'800.
