    1879: Italy 50 c. violet, single usage on registered cover to Livorno, tied by bold strike of "3862" numeral obliterator with "MASSAUA / (MAR ROSSO)" datestamp at left (Aug 19) and perforated registered label above. Reverse with minor imperfections and both Naples and Livorno datestamps. A scarce and attractive franking.
