    1896: Postal Stationery Essays for the head plate, Die Proofs (3) imperforate on white thick paper, with proposed values of 4 g. in reddish-lilac (2) one being overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red, also a 8 g.  value in lilac similarly overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red. Rare and fine.
