1858-69: Archive of 56 folded letters to Lyons, mostly 4d frankings, predominantely in decent condition, most often with 4d rose from 1857, and a few letter issues. One letter with 4x 4d, 3 letters combined with 1d engraved. Good variety of cancellations.
1889/1965: Accumulation of Revenue documents, contained within a folder, comprising over 100 examples franked with "Contract Note" fiscal stamps, including Queen Victoria 6 d. and 1 s., Edward VII 1 s. and 2 s., GV 6 d., 1 s. and 2 s. and QEII 2 s. and 6 s., good array of usages and frankings.
1853/63: Lot five stamps primarily used incl. Malta 1860/63 ½ d. buff unsed, Tasmania 1853 1 d. pale blue and 4 d. orange, New Brunswick 1851/60 3 d. red, and Nova Sotia 1851/60 3 d. blue. An interesting lot to be studied.

Day of Issue of the Penny Black 1840 (6 May): Stampless prepaid cover with full content from Turriff to Aberdeen, struck on front by circular "PAID AT TURRIFF" handstamp, on reverse framed "TURRIFF / MY 6 1840" datestamp in the same brownish shade.
1847/54: 10 d. brown and 1 s. green used on Nov. 1853 cover from Brighton to a military address in Bellary, India, both cut square but touching design, 1 s. with clipped corner at top right.
1899 (Sept.): Stationery postcard '6 CENTS' ovpt. on 8 c. carmine from Chemin Grenier to Paris, the indicium struck by light D2 "CHEMIN GRENIER" despatch cds in the red colour, reverse with MAURITIUS transit (14 Sept.) cds.
