1840 (Nov 18): Entire letter from Malta to Alexandria, Egypt well struck with "Malta Post Paid" straight line handstamp in black with French P.O. in Alexandria arrival cds (Nov 25) on reverse. Rare so fine.
1863/66: 2 d. yellowish-green, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 12½, a fine used example, lightly cancelled by barred oval obliterator in black. A scarce stamp. Cert. RPSL (2007) Gi = £ 400.
