1610/1792: Lot 20 early entires, sent from or to POs in Savoy, i.e. Chambery, St. Remy, St. Jean de Maurienne, and St. Michel including covers with postmarks DE CHAMBERY (Vollmeier type 144.9) and CHAMBERY (Vollmeier type 144.10).
1907/13: Nine covers and postcards from or via Moscow to St. Petersburg showing 'S. Peterburg MSK' postmarks with serial numbers '1' (7) or '2' (2). This mark is related to mail arriving from Moscow by train.
1905 (May 12): Picture postcard dispatched without stamps in St. Petersburg. A rare blueish postage due label and a postage due doplatit mark were applied at the 1st Expeditiya and the card was forwarded to Warsaw.
1903c.: 1 k. orange arms definitive, tied by figural mark of the 15th city PO on charity envelope of the St. Petersburg Red Cross committee within the city, red cds alongside. Russian Art Nouveau decoration of the cover.
Russo-Japanese War 1904: Commercial cover to Paris, franked 10 k., headlined Vladivostok, but with Harbin Field Post Office cancellation (Tchilingirian & Stephen T. 7, rated "RR" on civilian mail), Harbin Commandant's seal and Paris receiver.
1908 (May 19): 4 k. red arms definitive, glued around the edge of a picture postcard and tied on both sides with the cds's of a temporary PO established during the St. Petersburg navigation congress.
1905 (Jun 21): 1 pi. on 10 k. blue, tied with rare ROPiT ORDU 21. VI. 1905 cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 753) on cover to Constantinople, arrival mark on reverse.
1860/74: Lot 47 entires from a large variety of French POs in Savoy including better strikes like 'Griglia Sarda' on Chambery cover from June 20, 1860, five days following annexation.

1916: The scarce 1 and 2 k. Currency stamps each in two never hinged, post office fresh, blocks of four for display of front and back (16 stamps) Mi = EUR 392++.
Mussolini Autograph 1941: Original telegramsheet dated '13. NOV 941' bearing a message for Marshall De Bono in Rome, written and signed by the Duce 'Mussolini', a small item of historical interest.
Northern Army Unissued Currency 50 k. Currency Stamp, inter-panneau block of eight, intended to be folded and gummed together, never hinged and rare in this undivided form.

1872: Formular card from Berdyansk to Odessa, neatly franked and cancelled 5 k. lilac and black on vertically laid paper, a rare stamp on cover or card Mi = EUR 300 for the stamp.
1861: 15 Kr. blau 1861, entw. mit Kastenstp. "TRIESTE 10/4" auf Faltbrief von Konstantinopel, von dort versendet mit Forwarder (rücks. blauer Stempel "Giov. Bühler Trieste" vom 10.4.63) und ab Triest mit kaiserlicher Post nach Steyr über Wien (10.4.). Interessante Kombination beider Postwege.
Zeitungsmarken 1859: (1,05 Kr.) dunkellila im senkr. Dreierstreifen, meist breitrandig, entw. mit schwarzem Einkreis-Datumsstp. "Tarnow 10/10" auf kompl. Schleife, innerhalb von Tarnow versendet, am Streifen wurde die Ecke links unten ergänzt. Attest Ferchenbauer (1995) Ferchenbauer = EUR 2'500+.
1867: 3 Kr. grün, waagr. Dreierstreifen und 25 Kr. bräunlichlila, waagr. Paar, grober Druck, entw. mit Datumsstp. PRATERSTRASSE WIEN 26 / 8 / 73, auf Briefvorderseite nach Havanna / Kuba mit roten "P.P." und LONDON PAID, etwas fleckig. Attest Ferchenbauer (2012).
1850: Hand made paper 45 c. blue, luxury piece from bottom left corner of the sheet, nicely cancelled by black cds 'Vicenza 3/11' Ferchenbauer = EUR 550/Müller Nr. 268d.
1850 (Sept 14): Part entire with rare perfect mark VIUZ EN SALLAZ (Vollmeier type 563.2), sent as official letter to Bonneville (Sept 14), cachet of the administration on reverse. A fine cover.
1863/70: Group of four entires and one stationery with the St. Petersburg city post 'S.P.B.' cancellation; in addition four used 5 k. black & blue city post stamps used and a block of four mint ones.

1786: Entire from Leipzig to Riga, sent back with handwritten notion 'Unknown letters are not accepted if not in a cover" (in German). No postmarks on this item.
1913: Consular Fiscals, group of ten stamps: 1 k., 2 k., 10 k., 50 k., 75 k. 1 r. 50, 2 r. 25, 3 r., 5 r. and 7 r. 50. Except for the 2 r. 25 all are never hinged mint.
