    1872 (May 22): 6 d. very deep chestnut, Plate 11, wmk. Spray, lettered AA-AD / CA-CD, a used block of twelve (4 x 3) in a deep dull shade, a few slight surface imperfections at base and ironed horizontal bends, stamp CC with closed tear, each stamp cancelled by "021" numeral obliterators of St. Just (Cornwall) in black.
