    1860 (June 10): Entire letter sent "Express" and annotated at top in manuscript "Estafetá" and "Principatile Unite D: Capitan posti Rumanesc. No. 6332". Express covers were carried by horse or coach, all being extremely scarce, the rate being 5 piastres between each Postal Station on the selected route. Less than 10 Express covers have been recorded.
