    1961 (Dec 19): Cover addressed from Christchurch, Hampshire to BFPO 53 (Cyprus) containing Christmas Card, mailed on ill-fated Comet 4B jet on a BEA Flight which crashed at Ankara Airport killing 27 people. The cover burnt at edges with copy of the original explanatory note dated Jan 2, 1962 provided by BFPO 53 and a press cutting regarding the crash. An unusual cover.
