    Austrian Consular Post Office 1865 (Nov 21): Entire letter from Beirut to Constantinople franked by 1864 5 s. rose red and 15 s. brown tied by BERUTTI datestamps (Tchilinghrian fig. 3) in brown.Some minor imperfections but an attractive and scarce franking.

    Austrian Lloyd Office 1850 (July): Entire letter from Beirut to Syra, Greece struck with superb oval AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / BERUTTI in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 1). The entire slit for disinfection and charged '20' lepta due in red crayon for local delivery, Syros arrival cds on reverse.
