    Russian mail during War of Liberation 1877 (Oct 8): Russia Imperial Arms 8 kop. grey & carmine, tied by 'Pochtovij Vagon No. 25-26 (4) 21 8 Okt 1877' cds to letter card, written in in Tencho, Gorna Studena district, identical T.P.O. strike alongside, sent to Warsaw with arrival cds of the same day. Handwritten 'From the Southern Army on Active Service' and endorsed 'To Russia' on front. This cover was obviously intended to be send by Fieldpost but then taken privately to Russia and posted at T.P.O. No. 21 of the Granitsa - Sosnovitsi Railway line.
