1856 (Jan): Registration 6 d. vermilion & Prussian blue imperforate, in combination with 1856/60 1 d. orange-red, 2 d. blue (two) and 3 d. yellow-green, all with geerally fine margins, used on 1856 registered quadruple rate cover from Warwick to the Bank of Australasia, Ipswich, Moreton Bay District (Queensland), cancelled by "81" barred numeral handstamps in black. Two line "REGISTERED / WARWICK" handstamp below and reverse with double ring Warwick despatch cds (Feb 17) and Ipswich arrival (Feb 18) struck in black. A famous, colourful and extremely rare cover.
