    Coloridos 1861: 280 r. vermillion, a fine and fresh example, tied by "CORREOS DE RIO DE JANEIRO BRAZIL 18 2 64" despatch cds in black, on cover to Paris, endorsed "Tasmanian". Obverse struck with rare French "BRESIL 6 MARS 64 CALAIS" entry cds in blue. In France found to be of the second weight rate and taxed with '16' decimes due. Some toning, still an attractive and desirable cover.

    Dom Pedro 1866: 80 r. slate violet rouletted and 1878-79 10 r. vermillion rouletted in a horizontal pair, cancelled by mute 'cork' stamp in blue, ANTONINA despatch (Oct 16) cds in blue alongside on cover directed to Ponta Grossa. Reverse with CORITIBA transit (Oct 18) cds in blue. A fresh and appealing cover within the Paraná state.

    Dom Pedro 1876-77: 50 r. blue and 200 r. black rouletted in combination with 1878-79 10 r. vermillion rouletted, cancelled by segmented cork stamp, used on 1878 entire letter to Figueira, Portugal and tied by segmented cork handstamps in black, leftmost adhesive tied in addition by oval Portugese FRANCA handstamp. "P. DE JARAGUA" despatch cds (Dec 28, 1878) at left, reverse with PERNAMBUCO transit (Dec 29) and clear 'P. Transatlantico' cds in bluish green (Jan 10, 79). The appealing entire made its journey with the vessel 'Elbe' to Spain.
