    Dom Pedro 1876-77: 200 r. black rouletted and 1878-79 100 r. green rouletted in a horizontal pair, cancelled by segmented cork stamp, tied in addition lightly by "RIO DE JANEIRO" despatch (Nov 18) cds and "LIVERPOOL SHIP" cds in red to envelope directed to Lahr, Baden. Reverse with "LAHR IN BADEN" arrival (Dec 8) cds in black. A fresh and appealing cover which made its journey on the vessel "Equateur" of the Messageries Maritimes.
