Inland letters 1861: Paris printing 40 l. mauve on blue together with First Athens Printing fine impression 10 l. orange, two fine and fresh adhesives with fair to large margins and vibrant colour, on 1862 cover from Patras to Piraeus tied by '9' numeral of Patras with matching cds (April 13) and framed PD handstamp alongside. Reverse with Athens transit (April 15) and Piraeus arrival (April 15) cds's. A very fresh and attractive cover, an appealing combination of the Paris and Athens printing. Outgoing to France, mail carried on French Paquebots, 1865 (Nov. 9): First page of Printed matter letter from Patras to Marseille franked at the inland 4 lepta printed matter rate with 1862/67 Consecutive Athens printing 2 l. yellow-bistre, a horizontal pair with good to enormous matgins including parts of two neighbouring adhesives, cancelled by one central strike of dotted '9' numeral of Patras, with matching despatch cds in black, French framed PD and "GRECE 29 NOV 65 MARSEILLE" entry cds, both in red alongside. Reverse with Athens transit cds. Filing folds well away from the franking, nevertheless an extremely rare usage, following the certificate presumably of unique nature.
