    1890 (Oct 31): 1 d. dull mauve & rose, an unused example showing the spectacular 3 mm. shift of both LEEWARD ISLANDS and the 1 d. Duty Plate upwards and to the right, fresh and very fine, unmounted og. When one considers how many sheets of stamps that De La Rue printed, it is extraordinary how few major varieties such as this ever occurred. A fine and rare stamp: since 1911 just 28 examples have been recorded of this variety.rn
